Design Progress

2-14-11

February 16, 2011
Today we discussed dividing the team into a controls/programming team and a mechanical/hardware team. Members of our group were asked to research which they would feel more comfortable doing. We also established a reporting procedure for submitting our weekly hours. Ed has assumed responsibility for tracking our weekly hours and accomplishments. A dropbox account was made and an excel template shared with everyone in our group. This will allow everyone to edit the excel sheet while maintaining consistency of information.

As a conclusion it was decided that even further research will need to be done so that we can make a better educat...

Some of the ideas for our project included: an aquarium cleaner, an helicopter, a blimp, a UFO. All of which would be autonomous. After some discussion our group decided that it would be interesting and challenging to build an autonomously flying helicopter. Capabilities on the helicopter have been left ...
